Join us this Thursday, March 8th, for an exciting discussion on
Personal Identity

from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Melden Library (58 HIB)

What are the necessary and sufficient conditions for my existence? Am I identical to my physical body? If my body is destroyed, do I still exist? Say someone is pointing at a given person somewhere in the multiverse. What information do I need to possess in order to assert that “this person is me, and I am/did/will experience what this person is experiencing”?

No previous knowledge is required, as the discussion will begin with an introduction. Feel free to go through the links/suggested readings and offer questions, comments, etc. Snacks and beverages will be served.
Hope to see you all there!

With regards,
The Philosophy Club, UCI.
