Ted Chiang is a science fiction writer. His work has won four Nebula awards, four Hugo awards, the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and four Locus Awards. His short story, "The Story of Your Life," is the basis of the 2016 film Arrival. Chiang was profiled in The New Yorker on January 4, 2017.
