Transcending Limits: AHUA's Fourth Annual Art Show

 Art History     May 2 2016 - May 5 2016 | 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM UCI Student Center

UCI’s Art History Undergraduate Association invites you to join us for our Fourth Annual Art Show, Transcending Limits, a three-day event with opening reception on Monday, May 2nd, 2016.  from 5-9 PM in the Viewpoint Gallery, UCI Student Center.

Transcending Limits encourages the expression of individual limitations through art. In a world obsessed with the big picture, single voices and personal histories are often dismissed. Humans struggle within societal and/or personal limitations. Art allows individuals to break through these limits and to experiment with, and create, new meanings inspired by these constraints.

This show is a part of our ongoing effort to foster a community of art enthusiasts at UCI. Keep your eyes out for updates.  Contact us with any comments or questions at ahua.uci12@gmail.com or on facebook.

Funding for this exhibit has been generously provided by the Chancellor’s Office, the University Research Opportunity Program, and the support of UCI’s student community via a variety of fundraising activities.
