Event Title: CLCWEGSA Event -- Orientation to Special Collections and Archives

Announcing the CLCWEGSA Special Collections Extravaganza!

On Thursday, November 18, 2010, from 5-7pm, in the Special Collections Reading Room on the 5th floor of Langson Library (Langson 525) you will be able to learn more about materials in these collections.

Steve MacLeod (Public Services Librarian, Special Collections and Archives) and Virginia Allison (Acting Research Librarian for English and Comp Lit) will talk about library services and collections, and will share a selection of some of the most interesting materials in Special Collections and Archives. A sample of items will be on display for your viewing enjoyment. Material will include items from Early Printed Books, Fine Press & Artist Books, Small Press Books, Rare Books & Modern First Editions, Political Pamphlets, MFA Writing Program Collection, Critical Theory Archive, Manuscript Collection, and University Archives.

Food and drink will conclude the event.

All those associated with English, Comparative Literature, and Creative Writing are strongly encouraged to attend.
