Steve is responsible for managing the School of Humanities' budgeting and finance activities. Prior to coming to UCI in 1998, Steve worked at UCLA's Department of Radiation Oncology where he was the manager of business and personnel for 14 years. Prior to that, he worked in the Dean's Office, School of Medicine, and in UCLA's Campus Human Resources department. At UCLA, he was responsible for overseeing Radiation Oncology's Medical Center and Medical School finances, academic and staff personnel, purchasing, payroll and other business functions.

Lien has been with the Dean's Office for over 15 years, and is a key member of the Dean's Office Resource and Planning team. Prior to coming to UCI, Lien worked in the private sector handling accounting and payroll for several companies, and prior to that received her bachelor's degree in Economics. Lien manages the Dean's Office operating accounts, foundation funds and research center accounts. She is also in charge of managing the fiscal closing activities for the School of Humanities. Other activities she oversees are: the School's Research and Travel awards; Dean's Office Enhancement Funds; and the School's Sub 1 reporting and accounting.

Joy has worked at UCI since 1977, when she started in the Medical Center, and most recently in the Library where she was responsible for payroll and personnel functions. Joy also worked in the business and finance area of the Library and has experience in many of the functions she will handle in Humanities.
